| The EMP-21 was the world's first universal device programmer to use both USB and Parallel Port interfaces. With a wide range of devices supported (EEPROM, EPROM, FLASH, PLD, CPLD, 8051, Microchip PIC, Atmel AVR, Serial EPROM, JTAG) and Windows based EMPWin software the EMP-21 is a versatile and easy to use programmer. The EMP-21 offers the “automated one touch” system. This allows you to blank check, erase, program, verify or any combination of these functions with the ease of just pushing a button. The EMP-21 also supports in-system-programming, via an adapter, on a number of devices. | FAMILY MODULES & ADAPTERS The purpose of a Family Module is to allow the use of a few high quality pin drivers. Using a lower quality pin driver on each pin on the ZIF socket may result in reliability issues.
